I need some new music. Blues, pop, jazz, rock, anything goes. Youtube playlist, whatever one-clicks and goes.

I can’t comment on top 5 songs as the ask is very tough but here are some worth checking out:
Blues:
The Teskey Brothers (Ozzie band of brothers playing great old style blues)
Gary Clark Jnr (hard to classify him, but worth a listen)
Albert king with Stevie Ray Vaughan a great album

Jazz:
Ryo Fukui: scenery is a great album.
Leif Vollebekk

Vocal:
Celeste- strange

Also have you searched for the Cape Town hifi experience playlists? They’re all really decent

5-track mixtape for someone : youtjoop

I'd love to hear some more from others. Really need to get the ears into some different music, and I believe my algorithms are "bounded", if that makes sense? And then in trying to get to some more decent & good music, you have to wade through soooo much bad stuff.

Gems in here, thanks!

Don't do youtube music or any of that for music Playlists, but you couldn't go wrong by lining these up on whatever you choose:

Can - Halleluwah
Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin - Je T'aime (Moi non plus)
Isaac Hayes - Theme from Shaft
Stone Roses - Fools Gold
Fela Kuti - Zombie

Put it under jazz/funk/grooves

That is mood dependent and 5 songs is not enough! Let's try...
Too much rope - Roger Waters
Unforgiven - Metallica
Scoundrel Days - A-ha
Telegraph road - Dire Straits
Ecstacy of gold - Ennio Morricone
